I run to the train…. Along the way I hope I won’t be late, I like to arrive on time, to have coffee with my usual colleague… The day goes better!

I begin my duties at the scheduled time, in the spirit of good humor that exists at Ventask. I exchange a few jokes with my office colleague and focus, my role requires it, as well as speed and a lot of organization. Imagine a tangled ball of yarn, I have to put it straight, so that whoever receives it has it ready to knit. In my case, I deal with paper, a lot, I cannot fail, because the final result depends on all of this, so that all our clients and Ventask reach the desired ratios.

My daily strength comes from the background music I have, while I look at my papers, I listen to the voices of my colleagues on the phone, which bring me the great human warmth that our Organization has.

May 2020

I run to the balcony, catch some sun and drink my coffee, watching the empty streets, while I think about how quickly I got to work and adapted to this new way of working.

I sit in my new makeshift office (my dining room). I look for the papers, I only have a few drafts, everything went digital, even the traditional post-its I replaced with electronic ones.

I start my day in silence, distributing tasks across a back office that now has five more people, where responsibility has increased, to make fewer and fewer mistakes. All processes began to be handled online, just a long, demanding, but nevertheless very effective phone call away.

My background music was replaced by my children waking up, the teleschool and the (squeaky) voice of the primary teacher.

Today

Already accustomed to the new reality, I conclude that I gained more hours of sleep, even greater contact with my family and became a better professional, my KPI (Key Performance Indicator) increased, my skills transformed, making This makes me feel much more prepared to face any personal and professional challenge!
